Felice Carnicola (or Felix) was the second magister militum (master of the soldiers), serving one year in 738. Otherwise, nothing is known about him.
Deusdedit was the fourth doge of Venice, ruling from 742 to 755, but we know little more about him than of the previous doges and the “magistri militum”.
The account of the election of the first three doges of Venice (Pauluccio, Marcello and Orso), from the anonymous “Chronicon Altinate”.
The first doges, from the “Chronica per extensum descripta” (1340s) by Andrea Dandolo.
