The Arti che vanno per via nella città di Venezia (1753, 1770, 1785, etc.), by Gaetano Zompini (1700–1778), contains sixty engravings of common, mostly poor people, peddling their trades on the streets of Venice in the mid-1700s.

Co sto bigolo porto un bezzo al sechio L’aqua a boteghe, a chi no ha pozzo in casa E assae dolce, e chiara co fa un spechio.
Translation
With this yoke, I bring for a dime a bucket
water to shops, and to who doesn't have a well at home
It is very sweet, and as clear as a mirror.
Notes
A bigolo was a yoke for carrying buckets or other heavy objects. It also appears in plate 16.
A bezzo was a small copper coin worth half a soldo.
