The Arti che vanno per via nella città di Venezia (1753, 1770, 1785, etc.), by Gaetano Zompini (1700–1778), contains sixty engravings of common, mostly poor people, peddling their trades on the streets of Venice in the mid-1700s.

El dì, e la sera dolce de vedelo Vago vendando dopo averlo coto; E l’è sangue de manzo bon, e belo.
Translation
During the day and the evening, veal cake
I sell while I walk after having cooked it;
And it is blood of good beef, and nice.
Notes
The title Dolce de Vedeletto literally means “veal cake” or “veal sweet,” which was a kind of blood pudding.
