The Arti che vanno per via nella città di Venezia (1753, 1770, 1785, etc.), by Gaetano Zompini (1700–1778), contains sixty engravings of common, mostly poor people, peddling their trades on the streets of Venice in the mid-1700s.

Da tutte le stagion mi vendo fruti Più a bon marcà de quei delle boteghe, E per la baza ghe ne compra tuti.
Translation
In all the season I sell fruit At a better price than in the shops, And because of the good price, everybody buys it.
Notes
A frutariol (or fruttariol) is a street vendor of fruit.
The term baza means a lucky strike or an advantageous price.
