Hidden History group tours are scheduled on most days, but availability depends on what other engagements I have. There is a calendar of currently scheduled tours at the end of this page.
The tours don’t have fixed itineraries or content, as I always try to adjust to the interests of the participants as much as possible.
I can do these tours in several parts of Venice, and depending on where the tour starts, content will naturally vary.
Group sizes and prices
Groups are always small, from two to eight persons, so everybody can see and hear everything. The tour normally lasts about 2 hours.
If you’re a group of four, five or more adults, a private tour will offer more flexibility, and probably be more advantageous.
The price for group tours is €40/person for the first two hours, and €15/person for each additional hour, for those who want to go on for longer.
Children under five can come for free, and children fourteen or younger for €15.
Payment is normally at the end of the tour. I accept most credit cards (Visa, Master, AmEx, etc.) and, of course, cash. Payment in advance is also possible, but not a requirement.

Booking is by email, through the links in the calendar below, where each available tour is listed.
Meeting places
The meeting place for a group tour is usually decided with the first booking.
The available meeting places are:
- In front of the Santa Lucia railroad station for a tour down the Strada Nova and surroundings — an area which underwent huge changes in the 1800s.
- In Campo SS Giovanni e Paolo, for a tour through the more residential and less busy parts of Castello, towards the Arsenale.
- In Campo San Tomà, for a walk around the central Sestiere San Polo.
- At the Accademia Bridge, for a tour of the lesser crowded parts of the Sestiere San Marco.
- In the Via Garibaldi, exploring what was once the religious corner of ancient Venice, long before Napoleon and the Biennale.
- At Palanca, on the Giudecca, for a tour around this neglected part of Venice, which is as historic as the others.
